following a successful grand opening and inagural Lattes + Lectures, Brewd, the new coffee shop + tap house AT court Street plaza in cincinnati, Ohio is launching new events to turn strangers into neighbors.
beginning the week of May 11, brewd will be hosting 3rd shift happy hour for neighbors keeping the city running while most folks are sleeping. Third shift happy hour runs monday through friday from 6am t0 8am and includes $2 off draft beer and 25% off house cocktails.
Starting Monday, may 11 brewd will host silent book club meetings each monday from 6pm – 8pm. Silent book Club meetings invite neighbors to bring a book of their choosing, get a drink and enjoy an hour of cozy adventures followed by an opportunity to chat with other bibliophiles and participate in a book swap.
Adding to brewd’s monthly event line up, wednesday night trivia will kick off on Wednesday May 13 at 7pm. Teams can enter for their chance to win one of three gift cards and challenge their knowledge of random facts. Trivia is hosted by brewd co-founder Rodney De Iorio.
pre-registration is not required for the events, but neighbors are encouraged to show up early to grab a drink, food and a comfy seat, as space is limited.
brewd held a grand opening on Friday, May 1 and is open seven days a week with all day breakfast, a rotating selection of cincinnati beer, and local coffee, tea, and pasteries.
